Certified Home Health Aide

Job Description

Holy Trinity Home Care Agency is seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) for a private-duty client who has requested a caregiver who is familiar with and comfortable supporting their Catholic faith and traditions.

Pay:
$19.00-$22.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Schedule:

7 days per week
Approximately 28-30 hours per week
Consistent weekly schedule (exact hours to be discussed during the interview)

Responsibilities:

Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Provide companionship and emotional support.
Prepare light meals and perform light housekeeping.
Provide medication reminders.
Accompany the client to Mass or other Catholic faith-based activities, if needed.
Pray with the client upon request and support their daily spiritual routines.
Observe and report any changes in the client's condition to the supervising nurse.

Qualifications:

Current New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification.
Reliable transportation.
Previous home care experience preferred.
Compassionate, dependable, and professional.
Comfortable caring for a client who wishes to incorporate Catholic faith and traditions into their daily routine.
