Job Description

**Full-Time Nanny Needed | Long-Term Position | Faithful Catholic Family**

A loving Catholic family with four children (ages 2, 5, 8, and 10) is seeking a warm, dependable, long-term nanny to join our home. We are part of a close-knit faith community that has supported us in beautiful ways over the past year and a half, and it would mean so much to find someone from within that same kind of community to welcome into our family.

We are not looking for a short-term fill-in. We want someone who is looking for a family to settle in with and grow alongside for years to come.

**The Children**
- Girl, age 2
- Boy, age 5
- Boy, age 8
- Girl, age 10

**Schedule**
- Approximately 30-40 hours per week
- Early mornings and later evenings needed several days a week, as one parent will begin commuting into the city for work a few days minimum per week in the coming months
- Exact days and hours to be finalized with the right candidate

**Start Date**
- Week of August 17th
- At least one week of paid overlap with our current nanny, who will train you on the house, the children's routines, and our family's systems
- The first week will be lighter on childcare and more focused on getting comfortable with the home and household rhythm, so the children can adjust to your presence at a natural pace

**What We're Looking For**
- A practicing Catholic who shares our family's faith; this is important to us, as our faith is central to how we live and raise our children
- Someone who genuinely loves children and wants a family to commit to long-term
- Patient, kind, and steady, with the ability to care well for kids across a wide age range
- Reliable, communicative, and comfortable managing the pace of a busy household
- Puppy experience is a wonderful plus. We are welcoming a cockapoo puppy around the time this position starts, and we would love someone willing to help our children learn to care for and help with the dog

**Responsibilities**
- Morning routine: getting the children up, dressed, fed, and out the door
- School drop-off and pick-up as needed
- Meal and snack preparation for the children
- Homework help and supervising afternoon activities
- Light tidying related to the children (dishes, laundry, toys)
- Evening routine: baths, dinner, bedtime
- Helping the children learn to care for our new puppy

**Compensation**
Competitive pay, based on experience. To be discussed with qualified candidates.
