Family Assistant

Job Description

Family Assistant | $30-35/hour 40hours/week

A large Catholic family with many small children is hiring a full-time Family Assistant to support a bustling household in a beautiful area of Northern Virginia. The family lives close to a Catholic Church and is very active in the Catholic community in several ways.

What You'll Do:
-Partner with mom to keep household running smoothly
-Childcare and supervision
-Assist with meals, activities, and daily routines
-Daily household chores (no heavy cleaning)
-Occasional errands or organization tasks
-Minor help with children's Catholic education, but none of the children are homeschooled

What We're Looking For:
-Hardworking, calm, and positive when things get busy
-College graduate from Newman Guide school preferred
-Comfortable with young children and active households
-Valid driver's license and confident driver
-Willing to learn the family's routines and do the job well
-Experience between 0-5 years is likely sufficient for this role, however we would consider more experienced candidates as well; character and fit with the family matter most

Details:
-Hours: Monday-Friday, 40 hours/week
-Pay: $30-35/hour
-Housing: Optional to live in a separate area of the family's home, with it's own bathroom. If you choose to live in the house, this would be for free and without utilities.
-Flexibility: Flexible start/end times within the workweek when possible
-Start: ASAP
