Job Description
If you're a musician who is passionate about retreat ministry and ready to use your gifts for something greater - we want you on our team!SPIRITUS Ministries is hiring Catholic young adults to join our missionary team and lead youth into a deeper relationship with Jesus. A few of these missionaries will also work with our Worship Coordinator as part of the Music Team. From mid-August to mid-May, missionaries lead powerful retreats for Catholic youth in elementary, middle, and high school. While gaining practical experience, missionaries also live intentionally in men's or women's households, growing in virtue and community.
We want to invest in you! As a member of the Music Team, you have the support of SPIRITUS Leadership and staff while learning to:
Lead rehearsals for musicians and teammates to prepare for retreats, Mass, and events.
Assist in selecting music that fits the theme and flow of each retreat when needed.
Collaborate with the Director of Formation to schedule rehearsals.
Lead music for retreats, programs, adoration, and other assigned events.
Prepare music that supports prayer and helps lead others into an encounter.
Maintain and update Spotify playlists for retreat moments (arrival, adoration, reconciliation, meals, reflection, closing, etc.).
As a part of the missionary team, SPIRITUS also offers:
