Job Description
Everest Collegiate High School & Academy is seeking qualified candidates for a full-time middle school religion teaching position. Applicants should be capable of teaching a demanding curriculum, within and in support of a Catholic, faith-based environment. Flexibility and willingness to assist in the other areas of a dynamic middle school environment are a must. Applicants should be highly capable of providing student instruction and managing the classroom environment.The ideal candidate should possess the following:
Current teaching license and/or certificate of theology
Must meet all requirements established by the Archdiocese of Detroit for employment
Must have a record of fingerprints on file or be fingerprinted
Must have completed or be willing to complete Protecting God's Children training
Ability to work in a collaborative atmosphere with teachers, parents, and students
Ability to maintain a safe and disciplined learning environment
