Job Description

CATHOLIC EDUCATION AND SPIRITUAL FORMATION
o Strive to achieve the philosophy, goals, and mission of Catholic education
o Establish an atmosphere where students can encounter the living Christ
o Promote, live, and uphold Gospel values, Catholic moral teaching, and the doctrinal teachings of the Catholic Church
o Form students to experience true freedom and prepare for life in today's Church and society
o Foster a Catholic community in the school environment and broader community

SUPERVISION
o Directs student supervision duties for the campus; creates schedule for faculty and staff
o Manages student discipline issues and maintains disciplinary records
o Manages student attendance records, warnings, and probation plans; contacts parents regarding excessive tardiness, absences and/or truancy
o Manages, with the assistance of the School Nurse, the clinic and student health records
o Supervises students in school and community settings, to assure their safety and appropriate behavior
o Directs student locker assignments and student parking

STUDENT FORMATION ASSISTANCE
o Coordinates Homecoming dance, Mother/Son and Father/Daughter Dance, and Prom
o Directs and supports Club life as needed
o Manages relationships with vendors for the student uniform, student pictures, junior class rings, and senior graduation invitations and regalia
o Assists with Student Orientation days as needed
o Supports House System Coordinator to plan, schedule and coordinate activities, including Spirit Dance, Spirit Week, March Mania, etc.
o Assists Director of Student Formation & Leadership with Student Leadership Team, Ambassadors, and all leadership formation activities

ADMINISTRATIVE
o Assists with school calendar preparations
o Collaborates with Campus Minister as needed
o Works with faculty members and parents regarding student formation and discipline
o Assists with faculty/staff in-services as needed

QUALIFICATIONS
• Education: Bachelor's Degree
• Experience: 3-5 years experience in the same kind of position or in youth formation preferred

Frassati Catholic High School is a co-educational high school administered by the Dominican Sisters of St. Cecilia (Nashville Dominicans). Frassati Catholic opened with 46 students in 2013 and now serves 350 students in grades 9-12.
