Youth and Young Adult Evangelization Coordinator

Job Description

Large, vibrant parish in Plano, TX seeks dynamic individual to serve as Youth/Young Adult Evangelization Coordinator. Responsibilities include recruitment and training of volunteer small group leaders (mentors) and office aides, program development for middle school teens, high school youth, Confirmation preparation and working closely with adult leaders and parents. In addition, the Coordinator will assist other Youth Ministry staff with various evangelization and outreach activities such as mission trips, retreats, and Bible studies. This individual will also spearhead and coordinate our ministry for young adults in the parish.

The position requires some evening and weekend hours, as well as the ability to work in challenging environments (e.g. overnight lock-ins, mission trip sites, etc.). Desired start date is June 1st, but this is flexible. We are looking for an energetic and dedicated individual who is passionate about serving young people and their families. Ability and desire to work in a collaborative team environment is a must. A related degree is required. Applicable ministry experience is preferred. Musical talent is a bonus. Additionally, we need someone that is technology and social media savvy.

This is a full-time salaried position with opportunities for professional growth and development.
