Job Description

The Pontifical North American College invites applications for an Advancement Operations Coordinator (AOC)-a unique opportunity to apply your office management skills in service of an extraordinary institution of the Roman Catholic Church.

While the College is located in Rome, just steps from Vatican City, our Office of Institutional Advancement is based in Washington, DC (near Catholic University of America, Brookland-CUA Metro stop). This role reports directly to the Executive Director and serves as a key member of a small, collaborative team.

The AOC plays a central role in the daily operations of the office, including:
• Coordinating accounts payable and invoicing with our Rome office
• Managing weekly reporting between Washington and Rome
• Serving as the first point of contact for calls, email, and mail
• Supporting special events and print projects
• Assisting the Executive Director
• Overseeing general office operations

This is a fast-paced environment offering both independence and the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the College's mission.

Qualifications:
• Associate's degree (minimum) and 2-4 years of relevant experience
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and efficiency
• Proven reliability and work ethic
• Experience with Raiser's Edge database preferred
• Familiarity with and appreciation for the Catholic Church strongly preferred

Position Details:
• Full-time, salaried with benefits
• On-site role (flexible hours available)
• Free parking, dining area, and on-site chapel
• Start date is flexible, but we hope to fill the position as soon as possible
