High School Chemistry - Math Teacher

Job Description

Holy Family High School is seeking a dynamic and experienced educator for a full-time Chemistry-Math teaching position. The successful candidate will primarily teach Chemistry and demonstrate the ability to instruct a variety of courses within the Math Department. This teacher will design engaging lessons, assess student progress, and cultivate a positive classroom environment that supports both academic excellence and student growth.
Primary Responsibilities
Teach high school Chemistry courses and support instruction within the Math Department
Monitor student progress using a variety of formative and summative assessments
Foster an engaging, organized, and supportive classroom environment
Collaborate with colleagues to support student learning and departmental goals
Integrate instruction in a manner consistent with the mission of Holy Family High School
Applicant Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Mathematics, or a related field from an accredited
university (Master's degree and valid teaching license preferred)
Preference given to practicing Catholics
Demonstrated experience teaching Chemistry and Mathematics at the secondary level
Strong knowledge of curriculum design and instructional best practices in a positive
learning environment
Commitment to presenting subject matter in alignment with the school's mission
Salary $50,000-$75,000
