Job Description
Admissions CoordinatorThe Admissions Coordinator has an integral part of the mission of Mount de Sales Academy, helping us to identify, invite, host, and engage prospective students in the mission and life of our school. The enrollment process for the Admissions Coordinator is marked by having a faith-filled perspective sharing a passion and warmth for Mount de Sales in a way that connects with the aspirations of prospective students. The Admissions Coordinator conveys this experience through their initiative, invitations, and enthusiasm while ensuring all admissions guests have a positive experience while considering MDSA.
The Admissions Coordinator at Mount de Sales Academy is expected to be a highly skilled professional person who works in close collaboration with the Director of Admissions and Enrollment Management and Assistant Director of Admissions so that he/she may effectively fulfill the various roles that must be assumed during the day. Mount de Sales Academy seeks to offer a high-quality program integrated with religious truths and values. The Admissions Coordinator supports the basic beliefs, values, and traditions of the Catholic Church in communications, personal demeanor, and lifestyle. The Admissions Coordinator is expected to model Gospel values in his or her spirit of service and dealings with other colleagues. Respect for the dignity of each person is of utmost importance.
Duties and Responsibilities

Coordinate Sailor Visit Days for prospective students with oversight by the Director of Admissions and Enrollment Management.
Update anecdotal data from Sailor hostess, faculty and staff feedback, Sailor visitor survey, and candidate application to candidate profile.
Conduct tours of the school for prospective students and families.
Attend high school fairs to speak with prospective students and their families.
Assist in preparing for Open House, in conjunction with the Administration and the Director of Admissions and Enrollment Management's oversight of the event.
Plans for High School Fairs, including serving as primary liaison for one elementary school fair.
Responsible for Constant Contact communications as well as social media postings with oversight by the Director of Admissions and Enrollment Management.
Assist with the creation of Admissions materials and marketing as directed by the Director of Admissions and Enrollment Management.
Collaborate with the Director of Admissions and Enrollment Management on scholarship awards to incoming and current students and support related activities of initiating, publicizing, inviting, coordinating, etc.
Tracks scholarship promotion, selection, and awarding for all students as part of enrollment management
Supported by the Development Team, works with students for personal and individualized thank you notes and other stewardship including involvement in benefactor events.
Responsible for maintaining scholarship and interest-related activities connected to the students who are awarded these scholarships.
Processes admissions submissions including, but not limited to, inquiries, applications, recommendations, transcripts, educational testing
Manages prospective and current student engagement opportunities during the summer, under the supervision of the Director of Admissions and Enrollment Management.
Advocate for prospective students' needs in flexible schedules, extenuating circumstances, and diverse interests.
Present at school events to promote, engage, invite, and connect prospective students.
Identify incoming parents and students: names, photos, etc.
Work with the Director of Admissions and Enrollment Management on implementing the yearly admissions strategic plan.
Respond to daily emails and phone calls, including oversight of admissions@mountdesales.org account
Skills/Attributes
Commitment to the mission and vision of Catholic education in general and Mount de Sales Academy in particular.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interface with parents, students, fellow teachers, professionals from other schools, and the general public.
Working knowledge of MS Office Suite, with the willingness to learn Blackbaud, Constant Contact, and other creative programs (such as Canva). Proficiency in email marketing services and Adobe creative skills preferred.
Ability to coordinate, prioritize, and analyze several ongoing projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities will require working evenings and weekends as necessary.
Professional Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
