School: Holy Spirit Preparatory School (Pre-K2 - 12th Grade)

Position Type: Full-Time, Exempt, 10-Month Employee

Position Overview
The Lower School Faculty is responsible for creating a joyful, nurturing, and academically enriching classroom environment that reflects the Catholic identity and mission of Holy Spirit Preparatory School. Each faculty member will plan and deliver developmentally appropriate instruction in core subjects, build meaningful relationships with students and families, and work collaboratively with colleagues to promote the holistic formation of each child.

This position is ideally suited for a dynamic, faith-filled educator who is passionate about teaching young children and committed to excellence in Catholic education.

Roles and Responsibilities
Create a positive, engaging, and faith-centered classroom environment that supports the intellectual, spiritual, social, and emotional development of each child

Plan and deliver effective instruction in core subjects, including reading, writing, mathematics, religion, science, and social studies, consistent with school standards and curriculum guidelines

Integrate Catholic faith and values into the daily life of the classroom and school community

Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs and abilities of students

Establish and maintain high standards for student behavior, classroom routines, and work habits

Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to foster strong school-home partnerships

Collaborate with grade-level team members, specialists, and administrators to ensure a cohesive educational experience

Use assessment data to inform instruction, provide feedback, and support student growth

Participate actively in school events, faculty meetings, and professional development opportunities

Uphold and model the mission, vision, and values of Holy Spirit Preparatory School in word and action

Support the school and its leadership
Perform other duties as assigned by leadership

Qualifications
Commitment to the mission of Catholic education required; Practicing Catholic strongly preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred)

Current teaching certification or eligibility for certification in the State of Georgia

Prior classroom teaching experience, preferably in primary grades

Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

A warm, caring presence and a love for working with young children

Commitment to continuous professional growth and reflective teaching practice
