Job Description
Cardinal Gibbons High School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, is seeking a dynamic and mission-driven Annual Fund Director. This full-time, 12-month position is responsible for the planning, execution, and growth of a comprehensive Annual Fund program that supports the school's financial goals and advancement priorities. Reporting to the Executive Director of Development, the Annual Fund Director leads efforts to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward annual gifts from alumni, parents, grandparents, faculty, and friends. The role involves strategic campaign planning, personalized donor engagement, volunteer coordination, and consistent collaboration with the Development and Communications teams. Candidates must demonstrate strong relationship-building skills and a commitment to the mission of Catholic education. The candidate performs duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Archdiocese of Miami.Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in business or related field required.
• Master's degree in business or related field preferred.
• Three to five (3-5) years of experience.
• Demonstrated ability to make connections and communicate effectively with donors, students, parents, faculty, and staff.
• Software skill experience in Blackbaud Raiser's Edge/NXT database software a plus.
• Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail oriented.
• Must be fully committed, supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church Must conduct themselves in a professional manner consistent with the tenets of the Catholic Church.
