Job Description
Cardinal Gibbons High School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida has an immediate opening for a qualified Theology Teacher. This teacher will be expected to plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program for high school Theology. The High School Theology Teacher performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami. Salary will vary based on education and years of experience.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in theology, education, or related field required.
Master's degree in theology preferred.
Three (3) years or more of experience.
Communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with others.
Proficiency in MS programs, Google Suite, Apple ecosystem, and Canvas.
Excellent classroom management skills and have demonstrated ability to engage students.
Presentation skills and knowledge with use of instructional technology, including iPads, in the classroom.
Excellent oral and written English -language communication skills, including clear speaking voice.
Supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in the Roman Catholic environment preferred.
Exemplify professionalism in behavior and performance.
