Job Description

St. Theresa Catholic School and Parish (Church of the Little Flower), in Coral Gables, Florida, is hiring for a full-time Campus Minister/ Coordinator of Religious Education. The Campus Minister/CRE provides support to the Parish and School Administrator Teams and is responsible for proclaiming the message, furthering the faith community, organizing workshop experiences, and implementing archdiocesan as well as parish and school guidelines. The person selected for this position is expected to support and uphold the philosophy and mission of Church of the Little Flower and St Theresa Catholic School, and perform duties in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami.

Qualifications:
Master's in theology.
Fulfillment of Catechetical Certification requirements from the Archdiocese of Miami.
Employment is contingent upon the results and proof of clearance for the following:
Livescan Fingerprint Clearance (ADOM Requirement).
Must be able to able to work in a team environment.
Must possess the ability to plan and organize as necessary for carrying out job functions to the highest quality standards of the industry.
Must be able to receive, give and implement constructive feedback.
Able to prudently make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
Must possess the ability to deal tactfully and professionally with personnel, children, family members, visitors, and the general public.
Able to respond appropriately to an emergency or crisis situation.
Able to work a flexible time schedule (work one week before teacher workweek in August and one week after school ends).
Proficiency in the use of MS Word program for required reports and ability to prepare presentations in MS PowerPoint.
Tone of voice, choice of words, and body language of a professional and positive nature at all times.
Ability to communicate effectively both in oral and written format, utilizing correct English grammar.
Bilingual language skills in English and Spanish preferred.
Must have a professional demeanor, including the dress code.
