Job Description

St. Rose of Lima Catholic Academy welcomes applicants to submit their resumes for the 2025-2026 school year for various grade-level positions. (Grades K-8)

We are especially looking for a
1) First Grade Teacher
and
2) a Grade 6-8 ELA Teacher

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

2. Ability to create varied opportunities for students to demonstrate evidence of learning
3. Ability to incorporate cooperative learning strategies
4. Ability to incorporate hands-on activities
5. Ability to integrate technology in the classroom
6. Excellent classroom management skills
7. Excellent interpersonal skills
8. Excellent written and oral communication skills

The candidate needs to:
1. Be a practicing Roman Catholic committed to the mission of Catholic education
2. Have a Bachelor's Degree or higher
3. Hold a valid New York State Certification or be eligible for certification in a content area.

Salary is based on experience and educational degree
