St. John the Baptist Diocesan High School is now accepting resumes for anticipated openings in Physics, World Languages, Health/PE, and Student Life. If you are a dedicated professional looking to make an impact in a vibrant Catholic community, we want to hear from you.
Current Anticipated Openings:

Physics Teacher (Full-Time)
Inspire the next generation of scientists. Candidates should be capable of teaching Regents-level Physics and potentially AP curriculum, focusing on inquiry-based learning and lab experimentation.

Italian Teacher (Full-Time)
The successful candidate will teach various levels of Italian, fostering cultural appreciation and linguistic fluency.

Spanish Teacher
(Full-Time) The successful candidate will teach various levels of Spanish, fostering cultural appreciation and linguistic fluency.

Health Teacher (Boys & Girls)/Physical Education Teacher (Girls)
The successful candidate should be certified to teach NYS Health curriculum, as well as be certified in Physical Education

Dean of Female Students
Provide vital support in maintaining a positive school culture. Responsibilities include assisting with student attendance, conduct, and the implementation of school-wide policies.

Compensation & Benefits
Salary: All faculty salaries are determined by the LFA Contract.
Starting Salary: $48,000 (for candidates with no prior experience; credit given for years of service per contract).
New York State Teacher Certification
Environment: A supportive, faith-based community located in beautiful West Islip, NY.
