St. Joseph's Catholic School in Macon, Georgia, is seeking a dynamic, faith-filled Principal to lead its vibrant, Christ-centered parish school beginning July 2026. Rooted in the Catholic tradition and the mission of the Diocese of Savannah, St. Joseph's forms disciples through rigorous academics, daily lived faith, and a warm community of students, families, faculty, staff, and parish.

Located in the heart of Macon and closely partnered with St. Joseph Catholic Church, the school integrates Catholic faith and virtue with strong core academics, meaningful student life, and service. With over 152 years of Catholic education, the school has a student body of 210. The Opportunity
Under the supervision of the Pastor, the Principal fulfills the mission of the Catholic school serving as the spiritual, educational, visionary, relational and managerial leader charged with implementing the philosophy, mission, and management of the school. The principal is responsible for the professionalism of the faculty and staff, educational achievements of students, and cultivating a mutually positive relationship with the school and parish communities.

The ideal candidate will have or possess the following traits and professional experiences:

Faith & Mission: A practicing Catholic who articulates and models the faith; experienced in forming students through prayer, sacrament, service, and virtue.

Academic Leadership: Proven record in curriculum, instruction, assessment, and data-informed improvement; commitment to strong outcomes for all learners.

Student Experience: Champion for programs that cultivate leadership, the arts, STEM, and wellness in a culture of safety and belonging.

Community & Communication: Excellent communicator and relationship-builder with students, parents, faculty, staff, parish, and diocesan partners.

Operational Stewardship: Collaborative, strategic leader who can align budgeting, enrollment, and advancement efforts with mission.
