Immediate Leave Postion: Math Teacher

Job Description

Holy Cross High School is searching for qualified candidates to fulfill an immediate leave replacement in their Mathematics Department.

Candidates will be responsible for teaching Algebra 1 and Pre-Calculus.
Teacher must:
• Plan and implement curriculum aligned with the Common Core Standards.
• Tailor curriculum to engage students with computer-supported instruction.
• Design and implement assessments that measure progress towards academic standards.
• Participate in the school community and professional development.
• Effectively manage all classes.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with students, families, and colleagues.

Successful candidates will have
• Bachelor's or Master's (preferred) degree in education or a related field.
• Excellent oral and written skills.
• Outstanding interpersonal and teamwork skills.
