Job Description

Position Summary
The Augustine Institute is an educational apostolate that faithfully hands on the Tradition of the Catholic Church through multimedia products and content. We are seeking an Audio Content Lead to assist in the development, production, maintenance, and promotion of audio content that enlightens the mind, enkindles the heart, and nourishes the soul. This role will enhance significantly Augustine Institute's audio platforms (Amen App, Podcasts, and Formed) through creative ideas, theological and cultural guidance, and cross-functional collaboration with other departments that strengthens the broad formational efforts of the Institute across various media and platforms.

Core Responsibilities
- Contribute to and creatively implement the audio content roadmaps for the Amen app, Podcasts, and Formed to serve our users and help form the Church through our comprehensive library of content;
- Demonstrate overall market awareness and familiarity with audio content trends, in order to develop audio content that appeals to our target audiences;
- Ideate and develop audio content concepts aimed at serving parishes and parishioners for internal production and co-production in collaboration with the wider Content Development and Studios teams;
- Support production of audio content-including informational audio, prayer resources, Hope Springs and other audio dramas, and music curation-with our award-winning Studios team as well as external contractors;
- Collaboratively develop additional resources to support and extend the impact of audio content offerings in parishes and among their parishioners;
- Identify and work with key content partners to strengthen our audio offerings through various channels and platforms;
- Review audio content to ensure it is faithful to the teaching of the Catholic Church, edifying to users, and appropriate for Augustine Institute audio platforms
- Ensure alignment between the content we provide and the needs of the parish and their parishioners, with special attention given to the liturgical calendar, typical parish demographics, and the everchanging needs and desires of parishes and parishioners;
- Work collaboratively across departments, especially the Graduate School, Customer Success, Parish Sales, Marketing, and Product to develop content and contribute to promotional efforts that make it easy for parishes to find and to implement our various offerings;
- Contribute to the apostolate-wide content strategy and be willing to support projects outside his/her direct line of responsibility, including developing content for on-campus events.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; Masters degree or doctorate in Theology (or other related field) a strong plus.
- At least 1-2 years of related professional experience.
- A keen sense of the needs of today's world and how to respond to those needs with truth and beauty in an audio format.

- Competent - Proficient with computers and audio platforms, with the ability to learn new technological skills quickly
- Flexibility - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, take changes in stride, and manage time efficiently to meet deadlines
