Job Description
St. Thomas Aquinas Church and Catholic Student Center is seeking a full-time Director of Music and Liturgy. The ideal candidate will be in love with their Catholic faith, have a deep relationship with Christ and have an understanding of Catholic music and liturgy. Major responsibilities include planning and implementing music for liturgies. Coordinating the recruiting, training and supervision of liturgical ministers. Ministering to families for funerals, weddings and other liturgical celebrations. Maintaining audio/visual equipment, and creating a conducive atmosphere for the Sacred Liturgy and an encounter with the love of God. Five years' experience in parish ministry, a bachelor's degree in music (or equivalent musical experience), and training in Catholic Liturgy.
