English Teacher
Bishop O'Connell is seeking an English teacher for the 2026 - 2027 school year. Qualified candidates will have the background and be prepared to teach various courses across the discipline at college prep and advanced levels. Applicants should have a degree in English. Teaching experience, advanced degree, and/or education coursework is preferred. The department emphasizes critical thinking, writing skills and collaboration. The successful candidate will have a passion for literature and student engagement. Central to our curriculum is the exploration of how texts enlighten the understanding of Catholic identity, relationships and the dignity of the human person.
