Job Description

Biology Teacher - Long-term Substitute
Bishop O'Connell has an immediate opening for a long-term substitute Biology teacher for the first quarter of the 2026 - 2027 school year. This position has teaching responsibility for Biology honors and Anatomy and Physiology. The position runs through December 2026. Applicants should have a degree or significant coursework in biology or a related area. Teaching experience and/or education coursework is preferred. The department emphasizes critical thinking, writing skills and collaboration. Hourly compensation is $25 - $28 per hour, commensurate with experience.
