Job Description
St. Mary's is seeking a part-time Religious Education Administrative Assistant to work 20 hours per week. School-year responsibilities include providing administrative support for catechists; responding to parent inquiries and requests (in English and Spanish); maintaining volunteer compliance with child safety regulations; and helping RE sessions run smoothly and safely. Summer responsibilities include ordering curriculum and supplies; assisting with recruitment efforts; preparing catechist materials; supporting registrations; and collecting and recording student records.During the school year, work hours will be Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday evenings 4:00-8:15pm and all day Fridays. Summer schedule is flexible.
QUALIFICATIONS: Must faithfully adhere to all the teachings of the Catholic Church. Bilingual in English and Spanish is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate is warm, approachable, professional, and comfortable working with both children and adults. This person will foster positive and respectful relationships while demonstrating strong written and verbal communication skills. This role requires a self-motivated individual with a high level of independence, organization, personal accountability, and attention to detail.
