Job Description

Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America is seeking a Media Relations Manager - a strategic and detail-oriented team member who will help drive powerful media engagement and advance our mission to end abortion and protect the unborn.

In this pivotal role, you will partner closely with the Media Relations Director to build and strengthen relationships with reporters, manage proactive and reactive media efforts, and ensure SBA's message reaches audiences across the country. You will play a key role in shaping national conversations on the pro-life issue through strategic media outreach, content creation, and relationship-building.

Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America (SBA) is the largest pro-life political organization in the country, with a nationwide network of over 1 million Americans. We combine politics with policy, investing heavily in voter education and issue advocacy to advance laws that protect the unborn.

What You'll Do
Works with the Media Relations Director to execute proactive and reactive media tasks.
Day-to-day management of media inquiries.
Helps the organization develop and further reporter relationships.
Utilizes PR software to build lists, distribute press releases and pitches, monitor news, and track performance.
Advance SBA's new media strategy, including podcast outreach, and supporting targeted media efforts around key inflection points.
Requirements
Experience in communications, media relations, or campaign management.
Proven ability to work collaboratively and deliver under tight deadlines.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Commitment to SBA's pro-life mission and values.

Strong project management skills - able to juggle multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines with excellence.
High adaptability and composure in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
Strong relationship-building skills and political instincts.
Competence with PR software and media list management.
Comfort with data tracking, reporting, and media monitoring tools

Supervisory Responsibility
There is no supervisory responsibility for this role.

Position Type/Expected Hours
This position is a full-time position. Hours are typically 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday-Friday. This is an in-office position.

Some weekend and evening work may be required.

Travel
This position may require occassional travel for special events or meetings.

Salary Description
$55,000 - $70,000 annually.
