Located near the shores of beautiful Lake Tahoe, Saint Clare's is a Catholic Montessori school seeking a full-time Elementary Assistant.

St. Clare's Tahoe is an independent Catholic school in the Diocese of Reno founded in 2018. Home of the Golden Eagles, St. Clare's is made up of a Montessori lower school serving students in grades Pre-K3 through 6th, and a Classical upper school serving 7th through 8th graders. St Clare's Tahoe delivers a unique combination of classical education, opportunities for hands-on project-based learning, and a passion for outdoor adventure.

We are looking for a dynamic candidate interested in working as the assistant in our mixed-age elementary classroom. Candidates will have the opportunity to work alongside our talented lead guide in a joyful, light-filled classroom. Daily responsibilities include helping students with follow-up work, implementing our writing curriculum, assisting in the atrium, answering questions and guiding students in choosing appropriately challenging work, assisting with record keeping, parent communication, daily classroom management, and weekly outdoor adventures.

• Has a joyful, positive disposition and strong classroom management skills
• Has strong written and verbal communication skills
• Is neat, organized and has a strong attention to detail
• Is a team player who enjoys taking on a variety of tasks
• Has a love of the outdoors

Candidate must be a practicing Catholic in good standing. Catechesis of the Good Shepherd experience or willingness to attend training is required.
