Job Description
The Fund for Vocations is hiring a full-time Mid-Level Gift Officer to strengthen and expand our mid-level donor base, increase donor engagement, and generate additional annual revenue.The Mid-Level Gift Officer serves as a critical bridge between general donors and major gifts, ensuring that donors are personally engaged, well stewarded, and confidently invited to deepen their financial partnership with the Fund.
Core Responsibilities
• Manage a portfolio of mid-level donors through personalized outreach and relationship-building
• Solicit upgrades and additional gifts through one-on-one conversations
• Launch and manage donor clubs to foster loyalty, community, and recurring support
• Identify major gift prospects and coordinate next steps with the Executive Director
• Ensure strong stewardship, communication, and CRM tracking
• Organize, execute, and attend small group gatherings around the country
Ideal Qualifications
• 3-5+ years of nonprofit development experience, preferably within a Catholic nonprofit
• Warm, personable, and an effective conversationalist who genuinely enjoys engaging with people
• Comfortable asking for financial support and discussing charitable giving directly.
• Organized, proactive, and mission driven
• Strong alignment with the mission of the Fund for Vocations and the life of the Roman Catholic Church
