Job Description

Overview: We are a growing company looking to expand our offerings with a new online platform designed for
Catholics seeking assistance with end-of-life planning. This service aims to simplify the will-making process while
ensuring it aligns with the values and traditions of the Catholic faith. We seek someone to build partnerships with
Catholic non-profits to use and promote this service. The ideal candidate will be outgoing and possess strong
interpersonal skills and an understanding of the Catholic faith and its practices concerning fundraising processes.
Responsibilities:
• Strategic Outreach: Identify and connect with key decision-makers (e.g., bishops, diocesan directors,
parish pastors) to introduce Catholic Legacy solutions and value proposition.
• Partnership Development: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with churches, dioceses,
schools, and apostolates, understanding their needs and expanding Catholic Legacy's reach and impact
within the Catholic community.
• Sales Presentations: Deliver compelling sales presentations and product demos tailored to the needs
of religious institutions, clearly communicating how our estate planning and fundraising tools align with
their mission and benefit their members.
• Networking & Events: Attend Catholic conferences, workshops, and events to represent Catholic
Legacy, network with potential partners, and generate qualified leads.
• Travel & On-Site Meetings: While online meetings will be the most common way of connecting with
clients, some in-person meetings and travel will be required to deepen trust and close major deals
(especially for high-value or strategic partnerships that require a personal touch).
• Full Sales Cycle Management: Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting and initial contact
through negotiation, closing, and onboarding. When necessary, ensure a smooth hand-off to the support
team for ongoing partner success.
• Market Feedback & Strategy: Provide feedback to the leadership team on sales strategies, partner
needs, and market trends. Offer insights from the field to help shape product enhancements and
marketing approaches.
• Company Expectations: Understand Relevant Radio's mission, programming content, and audience.
Adhere to Relevant Radio policies and procedures. Attend training and department meetings. Perform
other duties, special projects, and support as assigned.
Experience and Skill Requirements:
• Catholic. Active faith life in accordance with the teachings of the Catholic Church.
• High degree of energy and passion for extending the mission of Relevant Radio.
• A High School Degree is required. A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications or a
related field is preferred.
• B2B Sales Excellence: Proven B2B sales experience ideally in software, SaaS, or advertising, with a track
record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Comfortable selling to organizational clients and navigating
complex sales cycles.
• Experience with Non-Profits or Fundraising preferred.
• Possess a positive attitude and ability to work with various people with various backgrounds.
• Excellent writing skills; ability to write effective business correspondence: letters and emails for internal
and external communications.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills; effective listening skills.
• Speak and write English.
• Excellent organizational and attention to detail skills. Must be able to multi-task with accuracy.
• Excellent follow-through on tasks.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Products: Excel and Outlook
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to lift 20 pounds.
Position Arrangement:
• Pay range is between $75,000 and $105,000 per annual, depending on experience.
• The position is located in Lincolnshire, IL. It is an in-office position, with occasional travel and occasional
evening and weekend hours.
• Valid driver's license required, and reliable transportation is needed.
• Ability and willingness to travel on occasion.
This Mission critical role will develop and maintain strategic partnerships with other Catholic organizations to
promote an end-of-life planning platform that aligns with our Catholic values and traditions.
