Short Term Leave Spanish Teacher (N-8)

Job Description

We are currently interviewing for a FT Spanish teacher to cover a short-term leave for about 4-6 weeks. IMMEDIATE START!

The Spanish teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging, age-appropriate instruction in Spanish language and culture to students across all grade levels, from early childhood through middle school (Nursery-8th Grade). The ideal candidate will foster a love of language learning while integrating Catholic values and supporting the school's mission.

This temporary position will involve:

-Teach Spanish classes to students in Nursery through 8th Grade

-Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of various age groups

-Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment

-Collaborate with faculty and school leadership to ensure continuity of curriculum

-Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and administrators

-Maintain classroom routines and expectations consistent with school policies

The ideal candidate will:
-Bachelor's degree in Spanish, Education, or a related field

-Prior experience teaching Spanish to children, preferably in a school setting

-Familiarity with Catholic education and commitment to upholding Catholic values

-Excellent classroom management and communication skills

-Ability to differentiate instruction to meet students' developmental stages
