Organizational Summary: City on a Hill serves the Kansas City area young adult community with the support of both Bishop Johnston (Diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph) and Archbishop McKnight (Archdiocese of Kansas City Kansas).
"City on a Hill" began in 2006 as a ministry of the Diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph serving the 250,000 young adults (ages 21-35) who call the Kansas City area home. City on a Hill has grown from a ground-breaking ministry with a few dozen people to a community that annually reaches over 2,500 young adults, 600 of whom are well-engaged participants. City on a Hill is credited with more than 100 marriages, more than 200 adults who have entered into regular spiritual direction and at least a half dozen vocations to the seminary or religious life." --Bishop James V. Johnston, Jr., Diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph
