Job Description

The Catholic Stewardship Foundation is an independent 501(c)(3) public charity supporting the missionary needs of diocesan priorities, parishes, schools, and Catholic organizations throughout the Diocese of Springfield in Illinois. With a particular focus on pastoral initiatives to build disciples and stewards - rooted in the priorities of the 2017 Diocesan Synod - the Foundation aligns its strategic work with the pastoral vision of the Bishop of Springfield in Illinois. While organizationally separate from the Diocese, our deep collaboration and shared Catholic identity, values, and mission enable us to accompany donors to deeper conversion in their practice of the faith and generous stewardship of life.

POSITION SUMMARY
Rooted in the Church's call to faithful stewardship, the Gift and Fund Administrator serves as the operational backbone of The Catholic Stewardship Foundation, supporting its mission to cultivate
generosity and advance the Kingdom of God throughout the Diocese of Springfield in Illinois. This position is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of all gifts and donations, meticulous database management, and maintaining the integrity of donor and fund records across multiple platforms. The Gift & Fund Administrator ensures that every contribution, whether traditional giving, planned gifts, or stock transfer-is properly recorded, receipted, and acknowledged with the gratitude and care that each act of generosity deserves. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to serving donors and Foundation fund holders with excellence, integrity, and a spirit of Catholic hospitality.
