Job Description
Hope Clinic is seeking a mission-driven, visionary leader to serve as our next Chief Executive Officer. This is a unique opportunity to lead a community-focused Christian nonprofit committed to serving all with dignity and compassion, in the name of Jesus.The CEO serves as the primary external leader and ambassador for Hope Clinic, cultivating relationships with churches, donors, volunteers, community partners, and supporters to ensure impact and long-term sustainability. The ideal leader is a warm and engaging relationship-builder who naturally invites others into the mission and cultivates meaningful connections across a broad range of theological, political, and community perspectives. This role is highly visible, requiring a leader who is energized by connecting with people, sharing the story of Hope Clinic, and advancing our mission throughout the community.
What You'll Do
Mission & Community Leadership:
Serve as the primary public-facing representative of Hope Clinic within the community
Effectively communicate organizational mission, vision, and strategic direction to all Hope Clinic stakeholders
Build and strengthen relationships with churches, donors, volunteers, partners, and community organizations to achieve long-term sustainability
Champion connection and volunteer engagement by regularly representing Hope Clinic in churches, community organizations, and public events to invite others into the mission
Continually foster a Christ-centered, ecumenically-sensitive organizational culture
Strategic & Organizational Leadership:
Collaborate with the Board of Directors to develop and implement strategic plans and organizational goals
Partner with leadership staff to strengthen programs and identify future opportunities, ensuring mission alignment and protecting organizational identity
Maintain visibility with staff and volunteers while empowering internal leaders in managing day-to-day operations
Support a healthy, mission-driven organizational culture that values collaboration, trust, and servant leadership
Champion and communicate a compelling vision for Hope Clinic, ensuring staff remain connected to the mission, goals, and meaningful impact of their work
Plan and execute development strategy to achieve clearly established financial goals
Partner with key development staff to advance fundraising strategy and donor engagement, and increase major giving
Continuously cultivate relationships with current and prospective donors
Participate in major fundraising events and donor initiatives
Ensure ethical stewardship and responsible management of organizational resources

A committed Christian who demonstrates a mature and active faith
Passionate about serving others and advancing Hope Clinic's mission
A strong relationship-builder with high emotional intelligence and strong interpersonal skills
Comfortable serving as a visible ambassador and spokesperson for the organization in a variety of external environments including churches
Able to comfortably engage a diverse range of churches with an ecumenical approach
Able to foster a culture of respect, trust, belonging, and shared purpose
Experienced in nonprofit leadership, fundraising, and community engagement
Able to unify staff, volunteers, churches, and stakeholders around a shared vision, mission, and purpose
Skilled in strategic thinking, organizational leadership, and collaboration
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
Leadership experience, preferably in a faith-based, nonprofit environment
Public speaking and community engagement experience
Experience with donor cultivation and major gift solicitation
Understanding of nonprofit financial stewardship and organizational management
