Job Description
Saint Gabriel Classical Academy seeks a mission-driven, experienced leader for the 2026-2027 academic year. The Academy offers a classical curriculum rooted in the Catholic intellectual tradition, serving Pre-K through Grade 8 students in the Colorado Springs area. The Pre-K program follows the Montessori model, and the school is expanding resources for students with learning differences. The faculty is committed to academic excellence and faith formation.Position to be effective July 1, 2026.
Salary: $75,000-85,000, commensurate with experience
Qualifications:
Practicing Catholic in full communion with the Church, upholding the Magisterium's teachings.
Commitment to Catholic Classical education and faith formation for the school community.
Master's degree in School Administration or a related field, with at least 20 graduate hours in supervision, curriculum, instruction, or educational administration.
Valid Colorado administrator certificate (or ability to obtain within two years).
Minimum five years of teaching or administrative experience, with at least three years in Catholic schools preferred.
Strong commitment to Catholic school ministry.
Skills and Competencies:
Collaborative leadership with the local Pastor and Superintendent.
Advanced knowledge of classical education practices.
Experience in emergency preparedness, organizational leadership, and school culture development.
Excellent communication, strategic planning, enrollment, retention, and financial management skills.
Willingness for ongoing professional development.
