Job Description

The Miraculous Medal Academies Foundation is built on 3 pillars:

-Ensuring that a Catholic education is accessible to all children in the Pittsburgh region.
-Preparing students for higher education through a curriculum built on the foundation of a Traditional education.
-Providing a rich spiritual formation with a vibrant sacramental and devotional life at the center of the school mission.

Our Foundation is in search of a Principal who can assist in bringing these 3 pillars to life at the new St. Cyril of Alexandria Academy while working closely with the administration team at South Hills Catholic Academy.

This is a 12 month contracted position beginning July 1, 2026 however we will hire the right candidate prior to July 1 to assist in developing St. Cyril of Alexandria after the SHCA model.

About the Employer

The Miraculous Medal Academies Foundation which governs over South Hills Catholic Academy is opening St. Cyril of Alexandria Academy in the fall of 2026. Modeled after South Hills Catholic Academy (SHCA), St. Cyril of Alexandria Academy is an independent Catholic school created and funded by a group of lay people. It is a financially independent non-profit organization, governed by a board of directors, and supported by benefactors and modest tuition revenues.
