Job Description
Saint Peter Catholic School seeks a mission-driven, experienced leader for the 2026-2027 academic year. St. Peter Catholic School offers a curriculum that forms students in the Catholic intellectual tradition, rooted in truth, beauty, and goodness, while equipping them with the skills of modern innovation and problem-solving through Project Lead the Way (PLTW). The school serves Pre-K through Grade 8 students in the Monument/Colorado Springs area. The faculty is committed to academic excellence and faith formation.Position to be effective July 1, 2026.
Salary: $85,000-90,000, commensurate with experience
Qualifications:
Practicing Catholic in full communion with the Church, upholding the Magisterium's teachings.
A strong commitment to the principles of Catholic education and an advanced degree from an accredited institution.
Multiple years of superior instructional leadership experience, with a minimum of five years of teaching experience, including at least three years in a Catholic school.
Familiarity with school management, budgeting tools, accreditation processes, and relevant certifications - such as state principal licensure and diocesan approval.
Strong commitment to Catholic school ministry.
Skills and Competencies:
Collaborative leadership with the local Pastor and Superintendent.
Experienced with developing relationships with parents as primary educators.
Build and sustain a faith-filled, mission-aligned faculty culture.
Experience with curriculum mapping, data analysis, and overseeing differentiated instruction, intervention systems, and enrichment opportunities.
Experience in emergency preparedness, organizational leadership, and school culture development.
Excellent communication, strategic planning, enrollment, retention, and financial management skills.
Willingness for ongoing professional development.
