Job Description
St. Mary Church in Huntley Illinois is seeking a Director of Confirmation and High School Youth Ministry to help facilitate an encounter with Jesus Christ among the teens of our parish.The Director's responsibilities include: preparing our 8th graders for the sacrament of Confirmation, coordinating small group ministry, coordinating retreats, seeking creative forms of outreach with the purpose of evangelizing teens and their families.
The Director of Confirmation and High School Ministry also collaborates with the Director of Middle School Youth Ministry. The desirable candidate will be a dynamic person who is able to relate well with high school youth and their families.
All applicants should be knowledgeable and orthodox Catholics living in accord with Catholic moral teaching. They should possess a missionary mindset and a focus on forming disciples of Christ. Formal theological training is an asset though not essential. Full time. Salary 40-52K plus benefits (commensurate with experience)
