Job Description

Saint Catherine of Siena Parish is a vibrant family parish in Metro Boston with a parish school. The parish is seeking a full-time, vibrant, faith filled, Catholic Youth Minister, to develop, implement, and manage, Middle School Religious Education and Youth Ministry (inclusive of Grade 8 Confirmation). Under the direction of the parish priests and in collaboration with the parish and school staff, this person would provide regular youth ministry gatherings and opportunities to grow and nurture the Catholic Faith, intellectually, spiritually, and emotionally. The candidate must be an active, practicing Catholic, committed to the teachings of the Catholic Church, have excellent organizational and communication skills, high energy, willing to take initiative, and ability to relate well with teens and adults. The position requires flexibility of schedule to work on weekends and weekdays as needed, the ability to work on one's feet and at a desk for several hours, be computer literate, and the ability to lift up to 30lbs.
