Job Description

Chesterton Academy of St. Louis is seeking a joyful, organized, and mission-minded Full-Time Administrative Assistant for the 2026-27 school year. As our school continues to grow, this position will provide consistent five-day front office support and serve as a steady, welcoming daily presence for students, parents, faculty, visitors, and school leadership. The Administrative Assistant will help manage the daily life of the front office, including student attendance, parent communication, visitor hospitality, incoming calls and messages, mail and deliveries, student records, health-related documentation, parking permits, completed forms, and general administrative support. This position will also be a support role for school safety procedures, recruiting and admissions, supplies and curriculum inventory, and school events such as open houses, parent-teacher conferences, admissions interviews, formation days, field trips, and other activities as needed (including a few evening events per semester).

Candidates should be practicing Roman Catholics who are willing to support the mission of Chesterton Academy of St. Louis and adhere to the Magisterium of the Catholic Church. Familiarity with Google Workspace and Rediker is preferred but not required. About the Employer

Inspired by Saint Pope John Paul II, we take as our motto Cultura Vitae, the Culture of Life. We make it our mission to prepare our students to triumph over the materialism and despair that pervade our culture and to accept our Lord's offer to have life and have it abundantly. Our classical curriculum combines a broad liberal arts education with a strong emphasis on the development of Christian virtues and an appreciation of beauty. Through our Three Pillars Model, we form our students in the areas of intellect, character and spirituality.
