Position Summary:
The Stewardship & Development Coordinator promotes a culture of stewardship and leads campus development efforts by cultivating relationships with donors, managing fundraising campaigns, and coordinating volunteer programs and campus events. This role ensures alignment between parish ministries, volunteer engagement, and financial growth initiatives to support the parish's mission and long-term sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as a primary resource and liaison for parishioners regarding charitable giving, including planned giving, major gifts, and non-cash contributions such as RMDs and stock donations etc.
Build and nurture relationships with current and prospective donors to encourage long-term engagement and support for parish ministries, programs, and capital needs.
Educate parishioners, school families, and young families on the spiritual and practical aspects of giving, including sacrificial giving, budgeting for charitable contributions, and integrating stewardship into daily life.
Develop and implement strategic fundraising and stewardship campaigns, appeals, and communication strategies to increase participation and financial support.
Provide guidance and leadership for parish fundraising initiatives, including donor engagement, solicitation strategies, and stewardship messaging to meet financial goals.
Maintain accurate donor and volunteer records, tracking contributions and engagement, ensuring confidentiality, compliance, and timely acknowledgment of all gifts.
Coordinate donor recognition programs to cultivate strong, long-term relationships with parishioners and benefactors.
Oversee and coordinate major campus events, including the Fall Festival, Auction, and Jag Jog, ensuring alignment with stewardship and development goals; serve as liaison for parish ministries.
Collaborate with all campus departments to strengthen volunteer programs, including recruitment, training, and retention initiatives that support parish ministries and events.
Track and report on volunteer and donor engagement, program impact, and financial outcomes to leadership.
Ensure compliance with diocesan policies and applicable legal and financial regulations related to charitable giving and donor stewardship.

Minimum Job Requirements:

Associate's degree in nonprofit management, communications, business, or related field. 3-5 years experience in stewardship, development, fundraising, or related ministry. Coordination and scheduling of people or events, to include organizational, administrative, and public speaking skills. One (1) year leading, directing, coordinating the work of others.
