Position: Part-Time Pastoral Associate of Sacred Music
Experience: 0-2 years
Education: Undergraduate Degree Preferred, but not required.
Base Pay: $15k to $20k Salary
Reports to: Parochial Administrator/Pastor

Saint Timothy's Catholic Church, a community in formation of the Personal Ordinariate of the Chair of Saint Peter, is seeking to hire a part time (15-20 hours/week) Pastoral Associate of Sacred Music. The following are the duties and responsibilities of this position:
• Planning of hymns and choral pieces to be used for all Sunday Masses, Solemnities, and other solemn liturgical rites;
• Collaboration with the Parochial Administrator/Pastor in planning the liturgical vision for the community;
• Development of a choir through rehearsals and other opportunities for spiritual and musical growth;
• Piano/organ accompaniment and leadership at designated liturgies;
• Occasional facilitation of opportunities for a Children's Choir;
• Recruiting, budgeting, and the administration of paid singers for special events;
• Other duties as assigned by Parochial Administrator/Pastor.

A successful candidate should possess the following:
• Firm knowledge and a living out of the Catholic faith; (willing to make the Oath of Fidelity)
• Working knowledge of the liturgical rites of the Catholic Church;
• Knowledge of Choral conducting, proficiency in piano and/or organ, working knowledge of Anglican and Gregorian Chant;
• The ability to pass a background check;
• Outstanding communication, organization, and interpersonal abilities.
