Job Description
The Basilica School of Saint Mary is seeking an Executive Assistant to the Principal and Office Manager. The Executive Administrative Assistant to the Principal serves a critical role in assisting in the execution of the principal's administration duties and related Office of the Principal projects as assigned. This position serves as the chief scheduler of the principal's professional calendar and provides initial engagement with school parents, faculty and staff, and external contacts. With their excellent written communication skills, he/she drafts and completes, with the principal's approval, Office of the Principal's correspondence. The Executive Assistant to the Principal is a key facilitator of the principal's ongoing work priorities and a central public and professional representative of the Principal's Office. Under the direction of the principal, he/she works collaboratively with the other members of the school's Administrative, Business, Facilities, Communications, Admissions, and Office of Stewardship teams to successfully implement a full spectrum of projects and school-wide events and programs. The Executive Assistant to the Principal also serves as the Office Manager, coordinating effective systems for and efficient management of administrative support staff at the School.The Basilica School of Saint Mary is the largest apostolate of the Basilica Parish, serving over 750 students.
