Job Description
Clinical Resource Nurse Description-A resource nurse at Bella Health and Wellness is a nurse that serves as a resource to patients, providers and other clinical staff to meet the daily needs of the clinic
Roles and responsibilities
-Manages any nurse visits that are scheduled (NSTs, pediatric vaccines, patient teaching on home injections, lab draws, IV therapy, ect).
-Serves as a resource to MA's and providers
-Provides education, teaching and oversite for MA's
-Resource nurse helps break others for lunch
-Resource nurse helps triage as able and helps close out clinical nurse inbox at the end of the day
-Counsels and educate patients as appropriate
-Assist triage team and manage the patient cases that come through the clinical nurse inbox in a timely manner
-Ensure proper documentation in chart for each patient interaction/phone triage scenario
Job Specific Competencies and Knowledge
-Good understanding of the Bella Mission
-Current state licensure as a registered nurse and BLS certification
-1+ years of professional nursing experience
-Must be a competent nurse with the ability to think critically and work independently
-Must be compassionate and caring
-Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
-Strong written and verbal communication skills.
