Job Description
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:-Prepare and maintain a beautiful, orderly, and prayerful Atrium.
-Present Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Level I or Level II presentations.
-Foster a peaceful environment where children can encounter Christ through prayer, Scripture, and the liturgy.
-Care for and maintain Atrium materials.
-Prepare new materials as needed.
-Collaborate with school staff and families to support each child's spiritual formation.
-Participate in the spiritual life and mission of the school.
-Perform other Atrium related duties as needed.
Qualifications
-CGS Level I and/or Level II Certification required.
-Practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church.
-Love for children and a heart for evangelization.
-Experience working in a Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Atrium preferred.
-Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.

We are a small, Catholic based Montessori school serving Arizona's east valley families. Stella Maris Montessori is seeking a faithful, joyful, and mission minded volunteer to serve as a Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS) Catechist. This is a unique opportunity to help build and cultivate a beautiful Atrium within a growing Catholic Montessori school.Our mission is to nurture hearts and minds toward holiness and sainthood through authentic Catholic Montessori education, and we are looking for someone who is passionate about helping form the next generation of saints.
