Job Description
Position Opening: Director of MembershipAbout the Opportunity
FADICA Catholic Philanthropy Network seeks an entrepreneurial, outcomes-driven, and highly relational professional to expand the organization's membership and oversee the outreach program. The Director will build a portfolio of prospective members through networking, research, and outreach. Prospective members are high net worth individuals and foundations who are seeking a peer philanthropy network to enhance their philanthropic ventures and achieve greater impact.
FADICA Catholic Philanthropy Network is a national community of Catholic-inspired funders committed to informed and effective giving for a vital Catholic Church and the common good. FADICA members are among the most entrepreneurial, generous, and faith-driven funders, and are passionate about a diversity of topics such as Catholic education, international development, care for the earth, social justice, and evangelization (to name a few). FADICA Membership includes an annual contribution that is commensurate with a prospective member's foundation or fund assets.
FADICA celebrated its 50th anniversary and is poised for meaningful growth in membership and expansion of our services. The Director of Membership will play a critical role in the exciting growth of FADICA's membership community in ways that reflect its values, peer network, and commitment to Catholic philanthropy.
Key Responsibilities
Membership Growth & Network Development
Build a new portfolio of prospective members from the ground up through networking, research, and outreach.
Network with current members and key stakeholders/organizations that collaborate with philanthropists and foundations.
Utilizing publicly available data, research, and professional social networks, identify prospective members (Catholic-inspired donors) who may have an interest in joining a philanthropy serving network.
In collaboration with the logistics and communications staff, build on the current outreach program to host regional in-person events and virtual programs for prospective members. The Director's role is to establish the strategy and to build highly intentional curated invite lists.
Build and strengthen pathways to membership, mapping out how a prospective member moves from initial interest, application, and active engagement/enrollment.
Build the campaigns, follow-ups, and touchpoints that keep that relationship warm at every stage.
Secure 3-5 in-depth, one-on-one meetings monthly with qualifying Catholic philanthropists, each a genuine opportunity to introduce FADICA's mission and gauge fit for membership.
Seek out and cultivate relationships with prospective members and partners in alignment with FADICA's mission and values.
Strategic Planning, Tracking, and Reporting
In collaboration with the Executive Vice President, set annual membership growth and engagement goals.
Track progress toward membership goals and benchmarks.
Manage and regularly update prospective membership data, tracking the customer value journey and prospective status.
Provide consistent reporting to the executive team and as needed, identify areas where the membership strategy and outreach can be strengthened.
Strategic Partnerships
Build and maintain relationships with other organizations that serve donors, such as charitable foundations that manage donor-advised funds, wealth advisors, peer organizations, and aligned networks.
Support partnership opportunities tied to convenings and initiatives.
Represent FADICA in external settings to strengthen relationships and visibility.
Cross-Organizational Collaboration
Work closely with the growth, program, and communications teams to implement a robust strategy for attracting and inviting prospective members.
Collaborate with the communications and marketing team in the development of assets for promoting FADICA and its membership.
Who You Are:
You are an enterprising leader with a deep passion for mission, impact, and results. You bring enthusiasm and a strong desire to grow the membership community and build relationships with Catholic-inspired high-capacity donors. You have a proven track record in attracting potential members through innovative strategies and compelling proposals and are skilled in prospecting and cultivating relationships. You enjoy being part of a team working toward a common goal.

Experience setting and working toward growth and engagement goals, with a track record of follow-through and results
Proven ability to identify and engage new audiences or constituents in a thoughtful, relationship-driven way
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage credibly with senior philanthropic leaders
