Job Description

John Paul II Academy is currently seeking a full-time instructional assistant for the 2025-2026 school year. We are a Pre-K through 8th Catholic elementary school in Louisville, KY with a warm, supportive, and collaborative environment. Our small class sizes allow for individualized attention.

Qualifications:
• A shared dedication to the Catholic identity and mission of John Paul II Academy
• Experience in education is preferred

• Discretion and sound judgment
• Resilient commitment to compassionately serving students from diverse ethnic, socioeconomic, cultural, religious, and academic backgrounds

Responsibilities include:
• Model the Catholic faith and Gospel values for all students
• Supporting classroom teachers by working with small groups and student supervision.
• Collaborating with a highly motivated faculty to create the best overall educational experience for our students
• Helping to foster a faith-filled and nurturing environment for students to grow in virtue
