Job Description

John Paul II Academy is currently seeking full-time elementary teachers for the 2025-2026 school year. We are a Pre-K through 8th Catholic elementary school in Louisville, KY with a warm, supportive, and collaborative environment. Our small class sizes allow for individualized attention.

Qualifications:
• A shared dedication to the Catholic identity and mission of John Paul II Academy
• Bachelor's degree or higher
• Valid Kentucky teaching certificate or working toward certification preferred.
• Excellent communication skills
• Discretion and sound judgment
• Resilient commitment to compassionately serving students from diverse ethnic, socioeconomic, cultural, religious, and academic backgrounds

Responsibilities include:
• Model the Catholic faith and Gospel values for all students
• Collaborating with a highly motivated faculty to create the best overall educational experience for our students
• Tailoring instruction to the needs of individual students
• Integrating technology and 21st century skills
• Providing a faith-filled and nurturing environment for students to grow in virtue
