Are you a dynamic professional passionate about making a difference? The Catholic Foundation in the Archdiocese of Dubuque (CFAD) is seeking a Full-Time Outreach Specialist to join our mission-driven team in Cedar Rapids.About Us:
CFAD is dedicated to advancing the mission of the Catholic Church by fostering generosity, stewardship, and endowment-building within the 30 northeast Iowa counties that make up the Archdiocese of Dubuque. As a public, nonprofit Catholic community foundation, we are separate from, yet collaborative with, the Archdiocese Corporation. As an Outreach Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in implementing marketing communications and supporting planned giving and fundraising initiatives to grow awareness and engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
-Develop and execute marketing communications plans and campaigns.
-Create compelling content for social media, newsletters, Google Ads, website updates, videos, and printed materials.
-Plan and coordinate events, webinars, and stewardship programs.
-Act as a liaison to Catholic organizations, assisting with planned giving efforts.
-Conduct donor research and maintain accurate donor and client databases.
-Implement donor stewardship strategies, including recognition and impact reporting.
What We're Looking For:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or a related field.
Experience: 3-5 years of relevant professional experience preferred.
Skills and Traits:
-Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with graphic design and CRM tools is a plus.
-Exceptional organization, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
-Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently.
-Practicing Catholic who embraces CFAD's mission and values.
