Job Description

The Saint Paul Seminary School of Divinity invites qualified candidates to apply for a Digital Marketing Strategist.

This position has a full time equivalency (FTE) of .80. We anticipate the role to work 32 hours per week, 12 months out of the year.

THE SAINT PAUL SEMINARY SCHOOL OF DIVINITY

The Saint Paul Seminary School of Divinity (SPSSOD) is operated under an affiliation agreement between the University of St. Thomas, the Saint Paul Seminary and the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis. The vision, mission and core values are as follows:

Salary Range: $46,670 to $60,094

The University of St. Thomas has provided a salary range that represents its good faith estimate of what the University may pay for the position at the time of posting. The specific salary offered will be determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget, internal salary equity considerations, and available market information.

JOB SUMMARY

This role runs the digital engine of The Saint Paul Seminary's mission - guiding prospective supporters and students through strategic online engagement. From managing the website and SEO to automating email journeys and optimizing social media content, you'll ensure our digital presence is dynamic, targeted and results-driven.

This position reports to the Director of Marketing, Communications and Innovation for The Saint Paul Seminary School of Divinity. It includes planning, execution and analysis of marketing and communications activities: execution of a strategic marketing plan; support of strategic funding and recruiting initiatives; and management of websites, social media platforms, and email marketing campaigns.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Serves as the seminary's digital marketing expert by tracking, testing and iterating with the most relevant tools and trends, including artificial intelligence. This includes input on the seminary's marketing technological stack.

Executes all phases of maintaining and updating The Saint Paul Seminary website and other seminary web properties, including copywriting, design, SEO, conversion rate optimization, lead generation and analytics for continuous improvement.

Writes, builds and analyzes email marketing/automation campaigns that move key external target audiences to action. A/B test content and calls to action to increase conversions.

Creates and executes against a monthly social media calendar to grow engagement with the seminary. Owns planning, execution (writing and creation direction) and analysis of all seminary social media channels.

Traffics and tracks paid digital advertising campaigns supporting the seminary's different initiatives.

Supports planning and execution of seminary's internal communications plan.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism or a related field
- 2-3 years of professional marketing communications experience
- An equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills have been acquired may be substituted.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in web, CRM, email marketing, social media and paid digital media
