Job Description
The Wheaton Franciscan Sisters Corporation (Sisters) is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) who will serve as a key leader in creating a culture for the Sisters' Campus environment as one of hospitality, respect, and collaboration exemplified in all interactions with our Sisters, St. Clare Sisters, Loretto Sisters, Associates, and all publics. The COO has direct leadership responsibility for several departments, including Buildings/Grounds, Dietary/Housekeeping, Information Technology, Human Resources, and Reception. The COO role includes coordination of these department services, monitoring staff performance and schedules, hiring, evaluations, and supervising the staff in the above-listed departments in accordance with company policy.The COO carries out the operational goals of the Regional Leadership Team (RLT) and will report directly to the RLT on a regular basis. The COO will also serve as the liaison between the Wheaton Franciscan Sisters Corporation/RLT and external organizations.
The position requires at least 15 years' experience of successfully leading multiple departments and requires a minimum of a bachelor's degree in business or related field. A master's degree is preferred.
This position has an annualized salary range of $110,000 to $125,000. The pay within the salary range will be based on many factors including but not limited to: relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and organizational needs.
