Job Description

St. Brendan Catholic School is seeking talented and mission driven teaching candidates for our 2026-2027 applicant pool. Located in Bothell, WA, our preschool-8th grade school serves approximately 255 students in a single class per grade model.

In partnership with parents and our vibrant parish community, St. Brendan Catholic School is dedicated to forming Disciples of Christ, achieving academic excellence, and serving the Church and global community. We are blessed with an active parent community and a supportive parish priest who is highly engaged with school life. Qualifications

Practicing Catholic committed to sharing the Catholic faith with students
Bachelor's degree required (education degree preferred)
Valid teaching certificate preferred; candidates actively pursuing certification will be considered
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
Commitment to academic excellence and faith based education
Desire to collaborate with a supportive and mission driven faculty community

Successful candidates will:

Collaborate with the principal to support and implement the mission of the parish and school
Plan and deliver instruction that reflects Catholic values and promotes ethical decision making, Christian leadership, and Gospel centered learning
Use flexible and inclusive teaching practices to support diverse learners
Build strong partnerships with parents through consistent, meaningful communication
Select, organize, and adapt curriculum materials to support both long and short term instructional goals
Provide clear instruction, monitor student understanding, and reteach as necessary
Assess student progress using data and classroom performance; maintain accurate academic records and communicate progress with families
Create a positive, well managed classroom environment using Positive Discipline and Love & Logic approaches
Communicate effectively with administrators, colleagues, parents, and students
Maintain and grow professional knowledge through ongoing education
Integrate technology and STEM practices into instruction
Implement student support plans that include accommodations and modifications
Support parents as the primary educators of their children in the Catholic faith
Work toward (and eventually attain) Seattle Archdiocese catechetical certification
Maintain all required Safe Environment and background clearances
Teach in online or hybrid formats if required

Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range:
$55,000-$75,000 annually
(Final salary is based on experience, education, certifications, internal equity, and market data.)
