Job Description
We are a local financial firm looking for a detail oriented individual that can handle a fast paced environment and meet required deadlines. If you have an interest in learning the investment industry or continuing your knowledge in this industry, we'd love to meet you! The Operations Processor Specialist role is responsible for submitting new applications, collecting funding data, and tracking trades while adhering to compliance guidelines. You will be coordinating with financial carriers and corporate retirement plans. Your performance will directly impact the growth of our firm.Job Responsibilities
Build investment application packets to support our Financial Services team.
Establish and build positive internal and external relationships.
Review applications, endorsements and policies.
Download, maintain, and update files in the customer database.
Perform quality control and meet compliance standards on all new business.
Prepare and maintain reports as required by management.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Must be able to work in a fast paced and team-oriented environment.
Must have a neat appearance and demonstrate effective telephone etiquette.
Should be friendly, organized and enjoy dealing with people.
Have strong computer skills and working knowledge of a variety of systems.
Must be detailed oriented and have great organizational skills.
Be willing to learn, comfortable accepting guidance and be a self-starter.
Must be responsible for meeting deadlines.
Prefer 2 years of experience processing applications in any financial or similar industry.
Note: Background check and fingerprinting is required by compliance regulation for this position. On site for the first couple of months required for training then possible hybrid.
